Dernetz
Terms for using the Dernetz website and understanding the boundary between website information, broker services, managed services, free portal use and supplier contracts.
The website provides information about Dernetz services and routes enquiries to Dernetz. Website content is not a supplier contract, legal advice or a guarantee of a particular commercial outcome.
Dernetz does not generate, distribute or supply electricity or gas. Energy supply contracts are entered into directly between the customer and the selected licensed energy supplier. Managed services, free portal use, brokerage and procurement work may be subject to separate terms, scopes of work or customer agreements.
Dernetz may receive remuneration from the selected supplier, charge the customer directly, or use a combination of these methods depending on the service. The applicable remuneration structure will be explained before the customer commits to a contract or paid service.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, bills, documents, authority and approval where required. A Letter of Authority does not, by itself, enter the customer into a new energy supply contract.
These website terms are intended for England and Wales. Complaints can be raised through the Dernetz complaints route, and eligible energy-broker complaints may be referred to the Energy Ombudsman where scheme rules apply.
